Shooting At Carswell
Hey guys, yes i am stationed at carswell NAS and there was a shooting. Some Naval guy decided that he wanted to kill himself, and while trying to do so he managed to get his supervisor shot and a second guy who tried to save a life. We heard the shot(s) and found it odd to have gunfire coming from a facility indoors and next thing you know you have af cops marine cops and navy cops doing everything. Poor guy..life isnt bad enough to kill yourself..thats a one way ticket to hell.. We are ok though... see ya

Glad to hear you are alright. That is so sad he felt he had to commit suicide. There are so many people, all around us, who are hurting. So often we don't even see them because we are so involved in our own lives.
I heard about that, it is really sad that someone would end their own life. I guess it is their most creative way to make a point. Jeez life cannot be that bad. I didn't know you were up there, have you ever fished for bass on lake Ray Roberts? I have family in Sherman and north TX is my favorite fishing spot in the entire world.

Our son will know Thursday what he will be flying...MC130, AC130 etc...will update when we know! Exciting times! :)
